Based on the latest ISO Survey (which estimates the number of valid certificates as of 12/31/22), these simpleQuE infographics show the top 10 countries for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications worldwide. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) compiled the number of valid certificates for 16 ISO management system standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 45001, etc.) submitted by Certification Bodies accredited by members of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF).* Additional data was provided from the IAF CertSearch database which further improved the accuracy of the results.
The ISO Survey 2022 results provide three sets of data including the number of:
- valid certificates for each country for 16 ISO management system standards
- sites covered by the certificates for each country for 12 of the ISO standards

As a new standard, ISO 45001 certificates have increased 3,224% over the 5-year period (Read our blog about ISO 45001 to learn more about this occupational health and safety standard.) All the main standards covered by the ISO Survey experienced growth of the number of certificates.
