Consultant, Trainer, & Auditor
Jennifer Briese is a Consultant for simpleQuE who performs consulting, auditing and training in the areas of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS9100, and ISO/TS 16949. She has 25 years of manufacturing and assembly experience ranging from the establishment, maintenance and improvement of various quality management systems for different types of manufacturers, to developing new facility layouts, and designing and managing cost justified material handling programs in the automotive industry.
ISO Quality Management Systems
As President and Owner of Briese Technical Services, Inc. since 1997, Jennifer has proactively assisted organizations with a combination of quality system standard solutions. Within those companies she has served as: Quality Manager, Internal Auditor, Internal Auditor Training Coordinator, and advised them regarding document maintenance and control for various standards including: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS9100, ISO/TS 16949, in addition to Industry Specific standards such as RIOS and R2.
In order to improve material, personnel or process flow, Jennifer performs Industrial Engineering studies in office as well as manufacturing, assembly, and distribution settings. She also provides training on Internal Auditing, Flowcharting, Quality System Documentation & Maintenance, and Management Overviews.
Prior to starting her own company, she served as Project Engineer – Quality Systems for Cleveland Advanced Manufacturing Program (CAMP, Inc.) and assisted companies with QA Systems, quality documentation, plans, procedures and statistical techniques. She provided guidance and training for development of ISO and QS 9000 compliant Quality Management Systems and associated documentation. In addition, Jennifer assisted the Environmental Engineering Group in the performance of waste reduction assessments and made recommendations for environmental and industrial engineering improvements to processes.
Jennifer has worked with companies to identify opportunities for growth and manufacturing advancement, and participated in the ODoD funded OTTO (Ohio Technology Transfer Organization) to assist manufacturers with less than 20 employees advance with projects such as improved facility layouts, new product development, existing product and process improvements and materials research.
Beginning her career with General Motors Corp. as an Associate Project Engineer, she developed her project management skills through cost justifying and developing returnable material handling systems for several components in the automotive assembly industry.
