Lee Emery

Professional Experience

Lee provides value-added services to his clients based on more than thirty-four years of experience in manufacturing, production and operations for aerospace, DoD, and commercial manufacturing enterprises.

Aerospace

He began his career as an aircraft design engineer for Grumman Aerospace Corp., and honed his aerospace expertise at GKN Aerospace Monitor as Supply Chain Quality Manager. The facility produced machined aircraft structural products (bulkheads, wing spars, wind-swept surfaces, landing gear structures, etc.) He developed and managed the Supplier Continual Improvement Program to aid suppliers in cost-effectively meeting GKN’s customer, regulatory and AS9100 quality and delivery requirements.  Lee also managed the Supplier Source Inspection Program and field source inspectors.  His responsibilities included supplier qualification/approval, purchase order review for conformance to requirements and supplier nonconformance management. Lee is an experienced Aerospace Quality Manager, auditor, engineer and inspector.

 Manufacturing

In addition, Lee has held production, operations, testing and management positions for a variety of manufacturing companies to achieve cost reduction, and meet quality and customer requirements, and company objectives. Those companies produced submarine nuclear reactor valves, CNC machines, and marine cargo equipment and systems.
