Robert Dornhecker

With over 35 years of combined experience in auditing, manufacturing and certification, Bob has an extensive quality background.  Additionally, he has taught and facilitated many quality related training classes for clients and has provided support to companies securing their own ISO/Quality Management Systems certifications through his consulting company since 2006.  Additionally, Bob has had IATF technical support responsibilities, auditor mentoring responsibilities and auditor development responsibilities at an IAOB accredited certification body.

ISO/Quality Management Systems

Bob began his career with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in the area of Product Testing and Quality Systems where he was involved with the development of their QS 9000 quality system and control of internal auditing.  He was also responsible for quality system training of staff and engineers and product development and DVP&R testing.

Automotive

In his role as Senior Lead Auditor at Underwriters Laboratories, Robert was responsible for scheduling and conducting ISO 9001 and TS 16949 audits which included customer management and audit team development.  He was manager of several clients including DaimlerChrysler and was the single point contact for customer issues and resolution.  Through reporting and trending actions customer satisfaction was continually improved.  Bob’s audit experience includes vehicle development, procurement, launch activities and manufacturing/assembly.
