How would other people describe you in three words?
Dedicated, Rational, Detailed yet Thorough (I know that is more than 3, but sometimes details don’t yield comprehensive results in auditing!)

Calming a chaotic situation
Client satisfaction is pinnacle to your background. What are your client-focused approaches at simpleQuE?
Listen, interpret and communicate the intentions of the standard. Many times people over complicate requirements and I am able to offer simple methodologies to not only meet the standard requirements but also provide value added information for the business.
Tell us some things most people don’t know about you…
I love horse racing, driving fast while listening to music at full volume.
What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
What advice would you give to a new college graduate entering the technology industry?
Be open minded, be respectful of opinions, but don’t take no for an answer, especially if it comes with the term, “we have always done it that way”. Always look for new ideas, methods, and forge a path down the road not trodden.

Thinking back over your career, what is the professional accomplishment you are most proud of achieving and why?
FAA Part 145 Service Center Manager for Rockwell Collins. We developed a great team and set the bar high for the other service centers, performing complex avionic repairs for electronics located throughout the plane including nose and tail sections. I started as an operations manager, moved to lead operations manager and was entrusted to train the ops managers around the world. From that role, I was promoted to service center manager. It was a small facility at 13,000 square feet with three shifts and we were the preferred facility for many top airlines.

What is the most important thing you have learned in the last five years?
Slow down, take time for yourself and have zero regrets.

Sit on the beach

Leanne is a simpleQuE consultant and auditor with global experience in avionics repair operations, quality assurance and process improvement. She also performs third party assessments for an accredited registrar and is a lead auditor for AS9100, AS9110, AS9120, ASA-100 and ISO 9001.
